Membership Basics

The Lafayette Composite Squadron welcomes interested adults and youth (12-18) to attend our meeting on April 30 at the Purdue Airport Terminal building. The meeting begins at 5pm with a presentation beginning at 5:30. Please join us to learn more about Civil Air Patrol.

 

The Civil Air Patrol is a great way to serve America through participating in its three primary missions; Aerospace Education, Cadet Programs and Emergency Services. CAP is an all-volunteer organization, made up of everyday people with a wide variety of skills. The requirements for membership are simple; a desire and a commitment to serve.

 

   

Cadet Members are youth between the ages of 12-18 who take part in the leadership training and aerospace education and while learning life skills in service to their community.

Senior Members are adults who support CAP's three missions of Aerospace Education, Cadet Programs and Emergency Services.

Aerospace Education Members are K-12 formal and informal educators at schools, youth organizations, museums, and libraries.
